My journey as a freelance translator began soon after I was born in Ankara, Turkey. I’ve always been passionate about foreign languages and cultures, and from an early age, I cultivated skills that would help me succeed in this field. I studied Translation and Interpretation at Bilkent University in Turkey, and in addition to Turkish, I soon became fluent in English, French, and Italian, as well as intermediate Spanish.
After university, I put my translation skills to work for various human rights organizations and NGOs, as well as law firms and for-profit corporations. Eventually, I was hired as a translator in Turkey’s office of the United Nations.
In 2005, I made Canada my new home and began working for various Canadian firms. Now, I use my decades of experience as a professional translator to offer translation services in three languages: English, Turkish, and French.
As an experienced translator and a member of OTTIAQ (Ordre des traducteurs terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec), ATIO (Association of Translators and Interpreters of Ontario), and ATIA (Association of Translators and Interpreters of Alberta), I have the skills and experience to handle complex translation projects for a variety of purposes, including:
-
Legal Materials
-
Immigration Forms and Documents
-
Medical Records
-
Insurance Paperwork
-
Business Documents
-
And more
I work quickly and offer my clients complete confidentiality.
